This global website was upgraded from Umbraco version 6.1.6 to version 7.2.1 Although it doesn’t sound like a massive step, the umbraco system changed significantly between these versions.
We have just completed a complicated upgrade of the Maxxis Brand Website. This global website was upgraded from Umbraco version 6.1.6 to version 7.2.1 Although it doesn’t sound like a massive step, the umbraco system changed significantly between these versions.
The global site is now being used by more and more countries and as they come on board there is functionality that will be needed for the site. The new version will allow easier updating of functionality in the future and also means that Maxxis stay at the cutting edge of web development.
CMS control is now simpler for all users and the interface is accessible through touch-screen devices.
