The Telesales Consultant is responsible for generating leads and bookings onto one or more of our bespoke Social Media and Marketing training courses along with generating enquiries for our other digital marketing services.
Astute Media is a successful 30-year-old marketing agency based in Solihull with clients in the automotive, charity and retail sectors. As an agency we are always looking to identify new opportunities and continued growth and the ideal candidate would be part of that growth.
Using the extensive experience and skill base that exists within the agency, we have defined and developed a series of new social media and digital marketing courses, to help businesses trade successfully in the digital world of business. Whilst making bookings for these courses is the core focus of the role, there is also the opportunity, whilst selling these courses, to identify other openings for all of our other services and help raise awareness as a all solutions agency.
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Closing sales with new clients over the phone
Asking questions to engage with prospects and maintaining a natural conversation
Listening to the client’s needs to identify and generate repeat sales
Maintaining our CRM which documents client and prospect information, payment methods, bookings made, diarised account management conversations. *Must be familiar with current DPA standards and practices. *
Keeping up to date on all matters social media and informing clients of new services and additional products we are developing.
Answering clients’ questions on these services and demonstrating their value of all our services to them
Meeting sales quotas and targets.
Work with our studio team to deliver feedback on current circumstances and provide suggestions on areas of improvement.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
A proven go getter and pro-active individual.
Ability to close sales
An in-depth knowledge of digital marketing and social media
Excellent communications skills
Creative thinking skills
The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly understand the services we offer and how they benefit businesses across all sectors
The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
The ability to remain calm under pressure
A driving licence would be ideal, as the role grows, and circumstances allow there will be the opportunity to conduct client visits
